“How do you feel about me being your last ever sexual partner?”
So if your long term husband, wife or partner suddenly blurted out those words over dinner how would you respond? In a healthy, happy relationship the answer would undoubtedly be something like “as excited as when I first met you darling, pass the salt” (or something like that).
Sadly, our anti-hero, Leonard Evans fails to deliver such an emphatic answer and this loaded question becomes a bullet into the heart of his 28 year marriage to Vivienne.
Therein lies the heart of this play which examines a life of missed opportunities, unspoken thoughts and frayed connections.
